Nilsa Leon passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at the age of 63.
Nilsa was a vibrant, fun-loving woman with many accomplishments. She was born in Manhattan, New York on May 19th in 1960. She grew up in Caguas, Puerto Rico where she created beautiful memories with her family. Nilsa graduated college with an associate degree in Bio Medic Engineering. At the age of 24 she gave birth to her first son, Thomas Anthony Wesley and at age 26 she gave birth to her youngest son, Kenneth Dwight Wesley. In 1989 she started her career at NAS Meridian, Mississippi naval base. Nilsa worked for United Nuclear Corporation as an Avionics Aircraft Technician for 12 years. Although she loved to sew and cook delicious meals for her family and friends; her passion was drawing. She was a true artist. Nilsa spent the past 10 years creating beautiful art known as cubism and encouraging and teaching others this technique. Her friends would tell you she was outgoing, fun to be around, and loved by all.
Nilsa is survived by her husband; Ron Faircloth, her mother; Tomasita Santiago, her father; Manuel Leon, her two sons; Thomas Anthony Leon and Kenneth Dwight Wesley; her 3 grandchildren; Jackson Anthony Leon, Olivia Grace Leon, and Bradley Ace Wesley; her sister Iliana Graham, her brother Jaime Leon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Manuel Leon Jr.
