Norma Adams, age 88, from Meridian, MS passed away peacefully where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Sparta, TN on March 25, 2025.
She was born on June 17, 1936, to her parents Otis Murphy and Ina Mae Hales. Norma was the third youngest of ten children (5 brothers and 5 sisters). Her dad died at a young age (47) leaving her mom to raise the children. All the children learned to work at a young age picking cotton in the fields. In May of 1954, Norma married Charles "Bud" Adams. She had known him since childhood. At the time of Charles passing they had been married 49 years with three children. She found joy in her early years cooking and baking, making ceramics, gardening, working in the yard, spending time with grandkids and in the latter years reading, watching animal shows on television, working sudoku and letter books.
