Norman C. Mitchell, Jr.

Memorial services for Norman Mitchell, Jr. will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Father Matthew Simmons officiating.

Mr. Mitchell, age 65, of Meridian passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at his residence.

Norman retired from Nelson Hall Chevrolet. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He graduated from Florida State University in 1976. He was perhaps the most benevolent, kind, and sweet person on this earth. He was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include his daughter, Julie Mitchell of Meridian; sisters, Margot Neuman (Cliff) of Colorado and Priscilla Mitchell of Florida; nephews, Beau Harding and Clayton Neuman; and niece, Lauren Tytler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman C. and Barbara Ann Brautigam Mitchell.
