O.E. Lovett

Funeral services for O.E. Lovett will be Monday, March 18, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. , at Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church with Bro. Keith Lovett and Rev. Wayne Hunt officiating. Interment will follow services at Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. O.E. Lovett, age 86, of Meridian passed away Friday, March 15, 2024.

Mr. Lovett, a tradesman skilled in sheet metal and air conditioning, was a lifelong resident of the Pine Springs Community. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating on Okatibbee Lake, and will be remembered for his straw hat, cut-off shorts, and boat so loud it announced his arrival to those miles around.

Survivors include his children, Keith Lovett (Kellie), Tammy Jones (Mike), and Sherry Harbour (John); 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Donald Lovett (Helen) and Bertie Snowden.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Lovett; his parents, Lula and Albert L. Lovett; and his sisters, Doris Fouch, Merelin Blunk, Bettye Coughlin, and Bobbie Lovett.

Pallbearers will be John Derek "J.D." Harbour, Jeremiah Lovett, Colby Jones, Cade Harbour, Noah Harbour, and Tyler Griffin.
