Omega Watkins Herrington

Memorial services for Mrs. Omega Watkins Herrinton will begin at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend James Ruffin officiating. Interment will follow at The MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS at 12 noon. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Herrington, 90, of Kemper County, passed away at Bedford Care Center in Marion on Saturday, January 5, 2020.

Mrs. Herrington lived in Lauderdale County with her husband Grady, and most recently in Aldersgate in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter, Hilda Jeanette Herrington, of Jacksonville, Fl; son, Gary Wayne Herrington and wife Suzanne of Euless, TX, and sister Esther Watkins Wilson of Kemper County, MS.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made as donations to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
