Oscar G. Vick Services for Oscar G. Vick will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 10:30 at West Kemper Baptist Church, with Reverend Max Jones and Reverend Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will be in West Kemper Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Vick, 86, of DeKalb died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. He was a member and deacon of West Kemper Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his daughter Sara Doner and her husband Mark of Batesville, Mississippi, sons Larry Vick and his wife Donna of Collinsville, Mickey Vick and his wife Carolyn of DeKalb; grandchildren Tracy Bright and husband Tim of Batesville, Mississippi, Tyler Vick of Collinsville, Andrea Vick of Collinsville, Greg Bailey and his wife Ashley of Meridian, Kristi Williamson and her husband Geoffry of Meridian; great-grandchildren Gregory Bailey, Taylor Bailey, Denise Bailey, Lauryn Bailey, Cody Williamson and Ragan Williamson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Vick and fourteen brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Massey, Billy Vick, Jay Vick, Elwood Vick, David Darnell, Jack Davis, Randy Pippin and Waylon Temple.
