Oscar Ray Williams Retired Services for Oscar Ray Williams will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Davey Wilkinson and Charles Engelbrecht officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Williams, 95, of Lauderdale, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at his residence. Survivors include his children, Bonnie Hamner, Samuel Ray Williams and his wife Jeanette and Edith Watson, all of Lauderdale, Neal Williams and his wife Anne of Hattiesburg, Walter Williams and his wife Cheryl of Lauderdale, Larry Williams and his wife Patti of Newman, Ga.; stepchildren, Beverly Bowen and her husband Kent of Meridian, Sue Dumas and her husband Roy of Walnut Grove and L.F. Jackson of Nashville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Irma Williams; wives, Nora Ann Tucker Williams, Ruth Clay Williams and Mary Young Williams; son, James Hixon Williams; daughter, Edna Rue Williams; brothers, Henry Neal Williams and Willie Hugh Williams; and a sister, Ida Rue Wedgeworth. Pallbearers will be Chad Williams, Terry Ray Williams, T.J. Williams, Sammy Hamner, Tyler Williams, Johnathan Beavers, Vince Harper, Ed Fuller and Kent Bowen. Honorary pallbearers are A.J. Davidson, Colby Garrett, Hunter Garrett and Sam Harper. Visitation will be today, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
