Mrs. Perkins, age 80 passed away February 22, 2020 at home. She was a member of Pine Grove Church in the Martin community. She graduated in 1957 from Meridian High School and retired from Ms. State Health Department.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by two sons, Kevin Rainey (Gift) of Meridian and Charles Perkins, Jr. (Ashley) of Preston MS; Brother-in-law Charles Byers, Hope, AR.; Sisters-in-law Rubye Guest (Charlie), Starkville, Lisa King (John) Brooksville, Linda Perkins, Carrollton, MS, Charlotte Perkins,Niceville, FL.; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and two special cousins that were more like sisters, Arlene Baker and Iwana Hayes.
Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Perkins, Sr. a son, Ken Rainey, Jr.; three sisters, Valeria Pool, Jean McIlwain and Dorothy Byers; four brothers, Kenneth, Louis Ray, Gerald Wayne and an infant brother; her Mother, Lois Woodrick Pool and Father, G. D. Pool; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law; and her Nephews, Bruce Lofton, Ronnie Pool, Rick Byers and Danny Rainey.
Visitation & Services will be Tuesday February 25 th , 2020 at 10:00am with Funeral at 11:00am at Pine Grove Church located at 11874 Pine Grove Road Collinsville, MS in the Martin Community with Revered Tommy Espey officiating.
Pallbearers will be Andy Rainey, Greg Hodge, Mason Hodge, Kelly Coleman, James Coleman & Keith Coleman.
