Paten R. Snowden Services for Paten (Bud) Snowden of Chunky will be held Friday, at 11:30 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Campbell and Kenneth Overby (brother-in-law) officiating. Burial will be in Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery, Meehan. Mr. Snowden, 95, died Wednesday, Sept.15, 2010 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a former employee of the Mississippi Forestry Commission and retired from Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company as Production Manager. In his spare time, he was a ham radio operator and loved hunting, fishing and woodworking. Mr. Snowden was a member of Chunky Baptist Church. He is survived by daughters: Glenda (Huey) Freeman of Meehan, Barbara (Gene) Little of Pascagoula, Maureen (Lanoyette) Smith of Causeyville and Wanda Holland of Chunky; sisters: Lucille Pugh of Forest, Myrtie Cox of Ocean Springs, Pauline Mabry of Atlanta, Ga., Lila Earl (Bobby) Knox of Alturas, Calif., and Betty (Kenneth) Overby of Valley, Ala.; eight grandchildren: Randy (Suzanne) Freeman, Rhonda Freeman Harris, Greg (Kimbraly) Freeman, Connie (Terry) Richardson, Eugene Little, Christy (Keith) Tucker, Patti (Timmy) Duett and Tony (Patti) Holland; 13 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and, many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Taylor Snowden; his parents, W.C. (Kemp) and Myrtis Snowden; brothers: Dick, Bill and Tommy Snowden; and, a sister, Norene Snowden. Pallbearers will be Randy Freeman, Greg Freeman, Eugene Little, Tony Holland, Michael Snowden, Brian Freeman, Brent Freeman and Andy Holland.
