Services for Patricia Fay Glover Harper will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jim Rickles and Corey Fontain officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harper, age 74, of Meridian, died Sunday, September 09, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was active in Young At Heart Senior Group at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and 15th Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Harper retired from her nursing career after working in a profession she loved for 41 years. She worked many years for Doctor Cecil Johnson and then Doctor Robert Berg. She will be remembered as a loving mother and "Nana". Survivors include her son, Randy Harper and wife, Tammie of Meridian; daughter, Vicki Dial and husband, James of Meridian; grandchildren, Chris Dial and wife, Brandi, Justin Dial, Matt Dial, all of Meridian, and Jonathan Harper of Berkley, CA; great-grandchildren, Hunter Brown of Columbus, MS, and Logan Dial of Meridian; step-great grandchildren, Brandon Morgan and Malerie Thornton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Harper; parents, John and Lucille Glover; and granddaughter, Jennifer Harper. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Moody Bible Institute. Pallbearers will be Johnny Mars, Roger Dale Glover, Terry Schickel, Gary Harper, Charles Harper, and Harold Harper. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
