Patricia Ann Hatch Norman Funeral services for Patricia Ann Hatch Norman will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Norman, age 76, of Collinsville, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital. Mrs. Norman graduated from Meridian High School with honors in 1956. She was a longtime member of State Boulevard Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher. She was a current member of First Baptist Church of Meridian. She devoted most of her life to taking care of her special needs son, Scottie. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a trusted friend who helped others through difficult times with encouraging wise words. She was married to her true love and high school sweetheart, Charles Norman, Sr. for 58 years. She is survived by her sons, Charles A. Norman, Jr. (Amy), and Richard T. Norman; grandchildren, Charles Tyler Norman and Ashley Elizabeth Huffmaster; sister, Eloise F. Herrington; brother-in-law, Arnold Jack Mears; sister-in-law, Mellie D. Norman Neal; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Norman, Sr.; parents, Theodore P. Hatch and Louise V. Houston Hatch; sons, Gregory Preston Norman and Jeffrie Scott Norman; and sister, Doris E. Hatch Mears. The family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
