Patsy Darling Williams Giffin

Services for Mrs. Patsy Darling Williams Giffin will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Damon Williams officiating. Interment will be held at Gum Log cemetery following services with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Giffin, 84, of Obadiah, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Aldersgate Personal Care Center of Meridian.

Mrs. Patsy was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Meridian. She was an animal lover and also enjoyed sewing, quilting and caring for anyone in need. She was also a fun and thoughtful Mamaw. She was loved and cherished by her entire family.

She is survived by her children, Dinah Neal (Larry), Susan Hatcher (Stan), Mal Williams, Claire Giffin and David Giffin (Ruby) and daughter-in-law, Cathy Williams. Grandchildren, Matt Williams (Amanda), Scotty Hatcher (Caitlin), Tonia Hollingsworth (Tommy), Damon Williams (Brittany), Trey Hatcher, Cody Williams (Brittany), Malery Williams, Mason Williams, Lisa Fulton, Tess Fulton, and Scott Wood; Twelve great-grandchildren; Special family friends Sandra and Roger Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Giffin is preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Giffin, son, Michael E. Williams, daughter-in-law, Barbra C. Williams and her parents B. A. and Frankie Darling as well as her brothers, Byron A. Darling, Jr. and William O. Darling and her sister Bobbie Harwell.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church of Meridian.

The family would also like to express thanks to Gracie Webster, Cecily Stephens, the staff and caregivers of Aldersgate and Louise Hogan of Sta-Home Hospice.
