Funeral service for Patsy Harper will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Long Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Ray Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Harper, age 57, of Meridian passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Patsy retired from the Hamilton Law Firm after over 20 years. She then received her degree in teaching from Mississippi State University and taught for a year at Lamar School. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed art and photography. She was an active member of Long Creek Baptist Church. The most important decision that Patsy made in her life was the decision to accept Jesus as her own personal Savior. SHE LOVED THE CHURCH!
She is survived by her husband, Marty Harper; sons, Patrick Harper and Brandon Harper (Jenna); grandchildren, Devin Harper and Makayla Harper; parents, Wayne and Claire Chambers; brother, Buddy Chambers (Donna); sisters, Lisa Chambers Snider and Rhonda Creel (Keith); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Harper, Jerry Moore, Tyler Harper, Corey Reece, Tommy Price, Jimmy McQuaig, Dave Irby, and Jerry Spivey.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Long Creek Baptist Church building fund.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home and Monday, November 14, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Long Creek Baptist Church.
