Patsy S. Holloway Services for Patsy S. Holloway will be held Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Davis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Patsy Holloway, age 80, of Meridian, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. Holloway retired from McRae's Department Store where she was a top sales associate. She was an excellent cook, gardener, and devoted wife, mother, neighbor, friend, and church member. Survivors include son, Jeff Holloway of Meridian; daughters, Amy Surmeli of Madison, and Emily Shumate and husband, Eddie of Athens, GA; grandchildren, Brett Holloway and wife, Elizabeth of Arlington, TN, Collin Shumate of Athens, GA and Lauren Shumate of Athens, GA; great-grandchildren, Margot Holloway and Maddie Clark Holloway; sister, Thellis S. Winstead of Meridian; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Holloway; parents, J.S. and Lucy Smith; siblings, Odie Smith, Sadie Hardy, Myrtice Skinner, Delma Ward, Ruby Skinner, Ruth Rogers Chapin, Hildred Matkosky, Wynell Ward, and Bonnie Joiner; and son-in-law, Esin Surmeli.
