Graveside services for Mrs. Patsy P. Swanner will be conducted at 10:30 am at Old Marion Cemetery Friday, June 21, 2019 with Reverend Wade Phillips officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Swanner, 77, of the Pine Springs Community passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Patsy was a humble, selfless and loving southern lady; she was known to help anyone in need. She was a wonderful cook and would often can many harvests from her garden. She always made the most of what she had and was a wonderful homemaker. She was raised Baptist and was a member of Arkadelphia Baptist Church until she met and married her late husband; she then attended Center Hill Pentecostal Church where she was a faithful member as long as her health allowed. She will be remembered as a loving and faithful wife, mother, Mee-maw and friend.

Mrs. Swanner is survived by her children, George Swanner (Rita), Danny Swanner, Rusty Swanner (Susan), Lisa Johnson and James Swanner (Stephanie). Grandchildren, Matthew Swanner, Dalton McArthur, Gunner Swanner, Kaylyn Swanner, Isabell Swanner, Sammy Swanner and Josi Johnson and one great-grandchild, Chloe Winter Swanner. Siblings, Carolyn Rice, and Juanita Puckett as well as a host of extended family members.

Mrs. Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Swanner; parents Robert L. and Lula Hughes; Brother, Wayne Hodges and sisters Hazel Lee, Virginia Hodges as well as an infant sister.

The family suggest that memorials be made to the East Mississippi Animal Rescue in lieu of flowers.
