Patsy Swanner

Funeral services for Patsy Swanner will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Swanner, age 73, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her home.

She spent many years working in the healthcare industry for Rush Foundation Hospital and with Dr. Little and Dr. Green in the Riley Hospital System.

Survivors include her son, Gary Swanner; daughter, Machelle Matthews; grandchildren, Jessica, Sydney, and Jamie; son-in-law, Jimmy Matthews; brother, Skip Riley; sisters, Kaye Myers and Kathy Domenget; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lofton Swanner and parents, Harold and Opal Riley.

Pallbearers will be Alan Whitlock, Jody McDade, Wade McDade, Tommy McDade, Shelby Smith, and Lee C. Roberts.

Honorary pallbearer will be Forrest Merrill.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
