Funeral services for Paul Pickett will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Thomas Laird officiating. Burial will be at DeVoe Cemetery in Clarkdale with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Paul, age 61, of Manchester, TN passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Unity Hospital in Manchester, TN.

Paul, a native of Meridian, accomplished much during his life, however, he was most proud of and doted upon his wife of almost 38 years and their sons, Adam and Austin. He proudly served 8 years in the Army National Guard and after a successful 35 year career in the steel industry, recently retired from his position as Regional Sales Manager with Gerdau Steel. Paul was known for his amazing and friendly personality and had a smile that could light up a room. He was a stranger to no one, and his positivity rang true with everyone he met. Paul was the most devoted and loving husband and father a family could ever ask for. He is, and will always be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife Diane of Manchester, TN, his sons, Adam and wife Lauren of Fairhope, AL, Austin of Menasha, WI; sister, Judi Peavey and husband Bob of Meridian, MS; brothers, Ray Pickett and wife Betty of Texas City, TX; Ronnie Pickett and wife Jan of Hickory, MS; brother-in-law’s, Dennis Parmer and wife Becky of Sugarland, Tx, David Parmer and wife Sarah of Beaumont, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnye Kate Pickett; father, Willard R. Pickett, and brother Toby Pickett.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Creel, Clayton Creel, Alex Pickett, Daniel Pickett, Josh Berdami, Denis McLemore, and Tim Pickett.
