Paul Queen Funeral services for Paul Queen will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leslie Aucoin and Reverend Richard Coats officiating. Burial will follow at Bucatunna Cemetery. Mr. Queen, age 45, of Meridian, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home in Whynot, Mississippi. Paul graduated from Mississippi State with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. He taught 5th grade at Quitman Elementary. He was the pastor of Water Valley P.H. Church. He loved to sing, spending time with his family, and traveling. He was a very selfless man and always put other's needs before his own. Other than his girls, The Lord was his greatest love and passion. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Tonya Queen of Whynot; daughter, Hannah Faith Queen of Whynot; his puppy, Muffin; father, Steve Queen of Quitman; sisters, Bonnie Roberson (Terry) of Quitman, Laura Davis (Paul) of Waynesboro, Kellie Smith (Keith) of Quitman, and Stephanie Long (Dennis) of Quitman; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Queen and sister, Shelley Queen. Pallbearers will be Timothy Steppee, Todd Steppee, Terry Roberson, Dennis Long, Kevin Irby, and Geoffrey Boyd.
