Pauline Burroughs Partridge A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pauline Burroughs Partridge, age 89 of Vernon, Al, passed away April 25, 2015 at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 27 at First Baptist Church, Vernon with Rev. Clyde Stevens and Rev. Randy Tolleson officiating. Mrs. Partridge was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on April 18, 1926 to Charlie Alvin and Sennie Mitchell Burroughs. They moved to Meridian, MS in 1936. She moved to Vernon, Al in 2008. Mrs. Partridge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Arthur Partridge and her sisters: Catherine B. Parker, Ruth B. Taylor, Marie B. Northcutt Bradley, and Dorothy Jean B. Carpenter, brothers: J. C., Charlie Alvin, Jr. and Ronald Wayne Burroughs. A niece, Barbara Parker Edwards. She is survived by her daughter Patsy P. Goodman (Benton), son James A. (Sonny) Partridge, Jr., a granddaughter, Paula G. Walters (Michael), a grandson, Scott Goodman (Lori) and four great-grandson, Jeffrey Rudd, Chase Goodman and Bryant and Huston Foster. Nephews Al Taylor and Jimmy Parker, nieces Joyce Graham, Abby Reed and Amy Busener. Mrs. Partridge loved her family and always looked after their needs and played with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and went on trips with them. She was a loving, caring person and loved her family and her Lord very much. The family would like to thank all of the staff and employees at Generations of Vernon, Fayette Medical Center and Noland Hospital of Tuscaloosa for all their love and care.
