Pearlie McGrew Lamb Services for Pearlie McGrew Lamb will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Community Seventh Day Adventist Church, with Pastor Glenn Marshall officiating. Burial will be in McGee Cemetery in Chunky with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Lamb, 78, of Chunky, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Bedford Care Center Monroe Hall in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Mrs. Lamb was a retired school teacher from the Jefferson County School System in Louisville, Kentucky and was a member of the Bass Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lumberton, Mississippi. Survivors include Franklin Christopher Lamb of New York City, New York, Maria Theresa Southard and husband Bob of Purvis, Mississippi and Burl Anthony Lamb of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren C.J. Hanekamp of Seattle, Washington, Anthony Southard and wife Jennifer of Thornville, Ohio, Dale Southard and wife Amanda of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Jonathan Southard of Apison, Tennessee, Daniel Lamb of Louisville, Kentucky; great-grandchildren Callie Southard and Alena Southard, children of Anthony and Jennifer Southard and numerous cousins and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Lucinda McGrew. Pallbearers will be her children and grandchildren.
