Peggy Lorraine Melton

Memorial services for Peggy Lorraine Sanders Melton will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at Central United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Melton, 83, of Meridian, died peacefully on Tuesday April, 26, 2016, at her home.

Born on August 1, 1932, Mrs. Melton was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and soon to be great-grandmother.

She will best be remembered by others for her beauty, kindness, and charming ways that could light up any room.

She loved to serve others and as a member of Central United Methodist Church, was very much devoted to her faith.

Survivors include her son, William Michael Melton; grandchildren, Anna Gill, Caleb Melton, Megan Melton, Victoria Hasson and Avery Carlton; sister, Wanda Copeland and brother, Charles Joe Sanders.

She was proceeded in death by husband, William H. "Billy" Melton; parents, Mr. And Mrs. Charles P. Sanders; brother Kenneth Sanders; daughters, Cindy Carlton and Rebecca Hasson; and grandson, William Melton Gill.
