Peggy Joyce Scruggs Graveside services will be held for Peggy Joyce Scruggs on Friday, June 20th, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Collinsville, Mississippi, with the Reverend Tom Espy officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Peggy passed away peacefully on June 11th, 2014, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, at the age of 81. Peggy was born on May 31st, 1933, in Martin, Mississippi to Adie Joe and Molly Saterfiel. She was one of thirteen children and dearly loved by all her brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons , Joe Scruggs, Ed Scruggs and wife Tina; daughter, Denise Peabody and husband Gary; 6 grandchildren, Camden, Carter and Katie Scruggs, Kim Reading and husband, Jeremy, Justin Peabody and wife, Ashley, Melissa Egan and husband, John, and 2 great grandchildren, Grayson and Brooklyn Reading; brothers, Walton Saterfiel, Carl saterfiel, A.J. Saterfiel and Ken Saterfiel, and sisters, Dorothy Kott, Dell Bennett, and many nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Adie Joe and Molly Saterfiel; husband, William Scruggs; brothers, G.T. Saterfiel, Harold Saterfiel, Donald Saterfield, and an infant brother; sisters, Winona Clearman and Claire Flynn. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
