Penny Renea Watkins Services for Penny Renea Watkins will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 2:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Smith and Dr. Johnny Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Ms. Watkins, 46 of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at UAB, Birmingham, AL. She was a graduate of Meridian High School and MCC where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. Ms. Watkins worked at Rush Hospital, Meridian Convalescent Center and the Oaks. She enjoyed teaching aerobics at Anderson Fitness Center, walking with her two dogs, Bud and Cosmo at Bonita Lakes, and scuba diving. She was an avid football fan. Her favorite teams were the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, the Lamar Raiders, and Meridian Wildcats. She loved her family especially her nieces, nephews, and brothers. Survivors include her mother, Ann Watkins of Meridian; brothers, Joey Watkins and his wife Kim of Meridian, Tim Watkins and his wife Pam of Memphis, Danny Watkins of Hattiesburg; nephews, Andrew and Daniel Watkins of Meridian; niece, Kaylee Watkins of Meridian; and her dog, Bud. She was preceded in death by her father, Joyal Watkins; grandparents, Meathel and Kermit Spencer and Don and Rebecca Watkins. The family requests memorials be made to Fifteenth Ave. Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Daniel Watkins, Andrew Watkins, Phillip Price, Ben Rose, Bubba Watson, Micheal Giuliano.
