Funeral Services for Mr. Philip A. Lee will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel, with the Reverends Gilbert Prince and Matthew Hall officiating. Interment will follow with Navy Honors and Masonic Rites at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Lee Family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to funeral rites in the chapel. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Lee, 95, of Meridian, died Friday, July 3, 2026, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Philip joined the US. Navy in 1948 and served a career of over 21 years, retiring with the rank of Senior Chief of Aviation Maintenance Administration. He served on numerous ships, including the U.S.S. Intrepid and the U.S.S. Kula. He attended several service schools while on active duty and retired fully in August 1977. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, and U.S. Naval institute. He was an honorary Submariner of the U.S.S. Archerfish (311) which sank the Largest Ship of World War II, the Shinano. Phil was also a Shiner and Master Mason and member of Andrew Chapel Lodge #151. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a long-time member of Andrew Chapel Church where he attended as long as his health allowed.
Mr. Phil is survived by his wife, Linda Lee; his children, Betty Carol Etheridge (Wayne), Debbie Bobb (Ken), and Page Lee (Gwen); his stepson, Kevin Sanders; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his first wife, Earline Lee; his parents, George and Margaret Benjor Lee; and one sister.
The Lee Family would like to express special appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of University of Mississippi Medical Center, Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center, North Point Health and Rehab, and Tom Maynor Rehab for their exceptional care and love during Phil’s medical stays. Also thank you to all his close friends and family for their support during his illnesses. A special thank you to the members of Andrew Chapel Lodge # 151 and his coffee friends.
The Lee Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Andrew Chapel Church in lieu of flowers.
