Funeral services for Phillip Dewayne Watson will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Richard Coats officiating. Burial will be at Longcreek Cemetery, Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Watson, age 55, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his residence.

Phillip worked as a mechanic and loved his work and racing.

Survivors include his sons; Eric Dewayne Watson (Jessica), Terry Wayne Watson (Michelle); mother, Patricia Watson; sisters and brothers, Joyce Nichols (Earl), and Amelia Shirley (Andrew), Tommy Mondell Watson, Jr., and Carol Embrey (Douglas); nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Mondell Watson, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Adam Embry, Chase Rayner, TJ Nichols, Joey Shirley, Frankie Dean, and David Shirley.
