Phillip S. Moore

Funeral services for Mr. Phillip S. Moore will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Lifer and Rev. Tom Belcher officiating. Burial will be held at Enterprise Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Moore, age 63, of Meridian passed away June 2, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Moore loved his family; he loved being “Pop” to his six grandchildren. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Moore enjoyed tinkering in his shop and helping out others. Through the years, he was employed as a salesman for various wholesale grocery suppliers.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Gena Brown Moore; children, Dan (Christi) Moore, Ryan (Jessica) Moore, and Adam (Tori) Moore; grandchildren, Jackson Moore, Eden Moore, McCartney Moore, Benjamin Moore, Sawyer Moore, and Oliver Moore; brother, Neil (Liz) Moore; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Emma Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil R. Moore and Margaret Slay Moore Sawyer and his stepfather, H.W. “Tom” Sawyer; and one brother, Joseph Wayne Moore.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Moore, Matthew Moore, Carl Mowdy, Daryl Brown, Matthew Buckley, and Lindsey Gabriel.
