Funeral services for Mr. Quintin Lonnie Timmes will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marty Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Lonnie Timms, age 61, of Meridian passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Baptist Anderson's Regional Hospital. Lonnie was a loving and caring husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed being around others and always bringing a smile to their faces. Lonnie had a big heart for dogs and all sorts of animals. He spent countless hours watching the Alabama football games. "Roll Tide!" Lonnie was a successful business owner of L & L Used Tires for many years. Lonnie was loved by so many close friends and family and will forever be missed.

Lonnie is survived by his children, Dori Anne Timms and Quinton Luke Timms-Lyons (Zachary).

Mr. Timms is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Timms; parents, James and Jane Timms, and nephews A.J Timms and Colby Jacobs.

Pallbearers will be Josh Timms, Robby Odom, Dakota Brassfield, James Timms III, Tucker Jacobs, Steven Griffin, Zachary Lyons, and Devon Griffin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Griffin and Jay Jacobs.
