Rachel Goodwin Dumas Services for Rachel Goodwin Dumas (Memmie) will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Darrell Dumas and John Sweeney officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Dumas, 73, of Meridian died Friday February 11, 2011 at R.P. White Nursing Center. She retired after twenty six years from Broadmoor Health Care Nursing Center as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Dumas's significant life accomplishments were nursing and caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children Monty Dumas of Hollywood, Florida, Janet Pugh of Meridian, Sandra Dumas of Meridian, and Darrell Dumas of Meridian; her grandchildren Re'Cheal Redmond Myers of Meridian, Nikki Williamson of Collinsville, Kelly Driggers of Meridian, Scottie Pugh of Meridian, Joy Dumas of Monroe, Louisiana, Joey Dumas of Hollywood, Florida and Kristopher Dumas of Hollywood, Florida and brother Everett "Sonny" Pinion of Meridian and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Clentis Goodwin and Rachel Goodwin and her sisters Elizabeth Maxwell, Dinah Pigott and Carolyn Ethridge and brother Cleve Goodwin. Pallbearers will be Mike Dumas, Stevie Dumas, Jerry Dumas, Jeff Spurlin, Donnie Spurlin, Joey Redmond. Honorary pallbearers will be Dereck Littleton and Clark Watson.
