Ramona L. Gipson Visitation for Ramona L. Gipson will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Gipson, 62 of Meridian died Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was retired from Roadway after thirty three years. Mrs. Gipson enjoyed antique cars, loved to hunt and camp and she also enjoyed bowling with her group on Monday's. She will also be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survivors include her husband Mark Gipson of Meridian; daughter Deidra Wells and her husband Ronnie of the Russell Community; step-son Christopher Gipson and his wife Karri; step-daughter Brandi Dubose of Meridian; grandchildren Landon Gipson, Josh Wells and his wife Allyson, Cohlby Wells; great-grandchild Keaton Wells; mother Daisy Eastman of the Russell Community; nephew Michael Gipson; father and motherin-law Hoot and Doris Gipson of Meridian; brother-in-laws Scott Gipson and his wife Mary of Meridian; and Keith Gipson and his wife Teresa of Meridian; also an aunt and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Eastman. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
