Funeral services for Mr. Ransom Dewain (Wayne) Glenn will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, at 2:30p.m., with Rev. Phillip Marshall and Dr. Richard McClain officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Glenn, age 84, of Meridian, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

As a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, he excelled as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a faithful member of Westwood Baptist Church, and he loved his Sunday School class. For two years, Mr. Glenn served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed bowling and learning new things; in fact, Mr. Glenn will be remembered as a lifelong learner.

Survivors include wife of fifty-four years Deloris H. Brown Glenn; children, Gail (Tommy) Smith, Steve (Patti) Brown, Glenda (Mike) Reeves, Diane Franklin, Glenn (Paula) Brown, and Wava (Rick) McClain; grandchildren, Shannon (Gregg) Stewart, Jason Smith, Keely (Craig) Espey, Steven Brown, Chris (Mandy) Brown, Stacey (Mark) Clark Miller, Bryan (Athena) Reeves, James (Caryn) Reeves, Joey (Sunshine) Smith, Ashley Harris, Joe (Belinda) Franklin, Eric (Jennifer) Brown, Emily (Lance) Goodman, Christy (Ben) Clark, and Julie McClain; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Preston Glenn and Katie Myrtle Brady and three brothers, James P. Jr., Alvis, and Billy.

The family request memorials be made to the charity of your choice.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Glenn’s grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Mr. Glenn’s Sunday School class.
