Ray Wilkinson Funeral services for Ray Wilkinson will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jack Giles officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Wilkinson, 53, of Collinsville passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, surrounded by his family at his home. Ray graduated from Meridian High School in 1979. He worked with AT&T for thirty-three years and he enjoyed working on trucks, riding four wheelers and boats at Dalewood. His main passion and love was his children. Ray was a member of Church of The Way. Survivors include his children, son, Ethan Wilkinson and girlfriend, Chloe Roddie of Collinsville; daughters, Alyssa Wilkinson of Philadelphia, Maggie and Macie Wilkinson of Collinsville; brothers, Charles M. Wilkinson and companion, Beth Lewis of Meridian and Gary Wilkinson and wife, Sally of Lauderdale; niece, Julie Martin and husband, Zach of Birmingham and nephews, Will Wilkinson of Meridian and Sid Wilkinson and wife, Angie of the Clarkdale Community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Sue Wilkinson. Pallbearers will be Paul Payne, Dave Hill, Chad Scruggs, Greg Guy, Derrell Fulton, Al Smith and Chuck Sanders. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Faerber, and AT&T Construction Division of Philadelphia and Meridian. The family request memorials be made to the Anderson Cancer Benevolence Fund and The Church of The Way.
