Services of Raymond J. Woods will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with The Rev. Harriett Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Woods 81 of Meridian died September 3, 2011 at Anderson Regional Hospital. He was retired art supervisor and instructor for Meridian Public Schools System, Adjunet Art instructor at Meridian Community College, Tutorial instructor at Hope Village for Children. Past member of Lions Club member of the Vestry at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife Sarah Woods of Meridian, daughter Elizabeth Blackledge and husband Brent of Athen TN. Grandchildren Emma Cecila and Austin of Athens TN. K-9 companion "Brother" The Family request memorials be made to Food Pantry, St. Paul's Episcopal Church or East Mississippi Animal rescue. Visitation will be Tuesday September 6, 2011 at St. Paul's 10:00 11:00.
