Rebecca Joyce "Jo" Stephens

Graveside Services for Mrs. Rebecca Joyce “Jo” Stephens will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverends Joe Williams and Caleb Hughes officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Stephens, 83, of Bailey, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center of Meridian.

“Mamaw” loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking and fishing. Her great-grandchildren fondly referred to her home as “The Snack House.” She shared lots of love and food with all who knew her. Mrs. Joyce was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Meridian.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by her children Susan McKee (Jeff), Anita Harrison (Greg), Ouida Gardener (Paul), and Billy Stephens. Grandchildren Brandon Eakes, April McCary (Brian), J.C. Fuller, and Ray Bonner. Great -grandchildren Madison McCary, Mason McCary, McKeely McCary, Dale Eakes, Sabrina Cline, Austin Willis, McKenzie Dugas, and R.J. Fuller. Siblings Elizabeth Anderson, Ramona Sneed, and Pauline Wright as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mrs. Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband Billy Stephens, Sr., granddaughter Brandi Haggard; parents, Vercie and Oscar “Lucky” Harris; brothers, Sam Harris and Jake Harris; Sisters, Ruby Ward, Opal Goodson, Claudine Jolly, Mavis Duncan, and Ruth Hendon.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Eakes, J.C. Fuller, Brian McCary, Mason McCary, Chuck Luse, and Byron McQuarters. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ruston Russell.
