"Reggie" Richard Thompson Services for Reggie Richard Thompson will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Beason Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Thompson, 60, of Meridian died Tuesday, June 13, 2011, at Rush Hospital. He was employed as an Engineering Technician with the City of Meridian. He worked in the engineering department for over thirty seven years; he loved his job. Survivors include his wife Ruby Thompson of Meridian, father James Thompson and step mother Vesie Thompson of Meridian, a step sister Daphne Cockrell of Collinsville, an aunt Ethelyn Vincent and her husband Frank of Bailey, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Welch Thompson. Pallbearers will be William Strickland, Stephen Hoffer, Tommy, Dexter, Tim and Danny Stephens.
