Regina Kay Roberts

Funeral services for Mrs. Regina Kay Roberts will begin at 11:00 AM Friday, January 23, 2026, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Brother Mark Hudson officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites at Stonewall Cemetery. The Roberts Family will receive guests from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the funeral home. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Roberts, 51, Quitman, died Monday, January 19, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Regina worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and went on to obtain her Registered Nursing License with a career spanning over 26 years. She worked at Anderson Regional Medical Center and since 2013 she held a salaried position in the Quality Department. She and her co-workers took pride each year, designing and decorating the Anderson Hospital Christmas Parade Float. Regina enjoyed crafting hospital message boards, making bows for Enterprise High School Cheer Squad, scrap booking, and especially enjoyed diamond painting. She was a gamer at heart and was unbeatable at Super Mario and enjoyed playing Farmville, when she could. Regina's true passion was dirt track racing and attending races with her family. She enjoyed spending time with David in their boat, river fishing. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed planting plants, flowers, and succulents and she enjoyed spending time in her yard. She also enjoyed going to NHRA Drag Races and Cruising the Coast. Always supportive of Shaela, she never missed a cheer or dance practice, recital, game, or competition, in High School and college. She was an avid Southern Miss Sports Fan and enjoyed following the team's progress each season. Regina was Christian by faith and a member of Quitman Church of Christ. Above all, she will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother, and mother-in-law; David, Shaela, and Richard were her pride and joy.

Regina is survived by her loving husband of over 25 years, David G. Roberts; her daughter, Shaela Kay Horton (Richard); her parents, Roger and Sherry Ann Tucker; her siblings, Jeffrey Tucker (Joy) and Vince Harper (Donna); her brother-in-law, Norman Roberts (Marsha); her nieces, Sarah Tucker, Tiffany Taylor (Steven), and Courtney McCraney (Michael); her nephews, Randy Harper, Johnathon Beavers, Sam Harper (Leighton), Jeff Roberts (Jennifer), and Corey Roberts; as well as a host of extended family members and friends; and her pupper dogs, Rosie and Copper; her granddogs, Draco, Hazel; and grand cats, Boomer and Salem.

Regina is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William Grady and Rachel Elizabeth Tucker; her mother-in-law, Ruth Roberts; and her brother-in-law, Darrin Roberts.

Pallbearers will be Billy Thompson, Brad Williams, Corey Roberts, Eric Plowman, Jeff Roberts, Jody Simpson, and Ricky Horton. Honorary Pallbearer will be Randy Harper.

The Roberts Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made as donations to Quitman Church of Christ.
