Retha Hastings Funeral services for Retha Hastings will be held Friday, May 22, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother David Hopkins officiating. Burial will be at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Hastings, 85, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at North Pointe Rehab Center. Survivors include her son, Barry Murphy, Sr. and his wife, Linda, of Meridian; daughter, Keela Smith and her husband, Rob, of Bowling Green, KY; five grandchildren, Barry Murphy, Jr., Amanda Murphy, Josh Murphy and his wife, Loryn, Kapree Null, and Whitney Null; two great-grandchildren, Chandler and Maddox Murphy; sister, Merle Irby, of Meridian, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Hastings, and her son, Joe H. Hastings, Jr., and seven brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
