Funeral service for Billy Whitaker will be held Friday, January 3, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Wayne Whitaker officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Billy Whitaker, age 90, of Meridian passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Survivors include his wife, Janelle Lambert; son, Howard Whitaker (Edith); brothers, Harlon (Daisy) and Ricky Whitaker; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Louise Whitaker; first wife, Vergia Whitaker; second wife, Catherine Whitaker; children, Mike Whitaker and Brenda Hollingsworth; siblings, Ray and Carlton Whitaker and Wilma Dickerson.

Pallbearers will be Adam Whitaker, Steve Whitaker, Gary Whitaker, Ben Lockridge, PJ Pearson, and Lee Pearson.
