Reverend Howard McKee Services for Reverend Howard McKee will be held Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverends Paul Raley and Will Dowling officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham family funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Reverend McKee 88, of Meridian died Saturday January 12, 2013 at his home. Reverend McKee was born May 27, 1924. He met the love of his life Lucy Ellis and married her February 20, 1948. He served as a United Methodist Pastor for over 30 years at numerous Methodist churches in Lauderdale and surrounding counties. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Rev. McKee had a great desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to anyone he met. Survivors: daughter: Virginia " Ginny" Parker, and husband Kells, of Meridian, son: Robert " Robbie" E. McKee, and wife Tonia, of Meridian, daughter in- law: Pam McKee of Meridian, grandchildren Jared McKee of Klamath Falls Or. , David Parker, of Jackson, Ethan McKee, Fletcher McKee and Jeremiah McKee all of Meridian and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy Ellis McKee, son, Howard Leon McKee and grandson Christopher Dan Parker. Pallbearers will be: Robbie McKee, Kells Parker, Ethan McKee Fletcher McKee, Turbo McKee, David Parker. The Family request memorials be made to Andrews Chapel UMC cemetery fund or the Messiac Jewish Alliance Association. Family and friends may sign online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
