Reverend Jackie Earl Bonner

The family of Rev. Jackie Earl Bonner will hold a memorial service for him at Christian Fellowship Independent Methodist Church of Meridian on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Sephus Garrett officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Rev. Bonner, 73, of Marion passed away on December 23, 2019 at Rush Hospital.

Rev. Bonner was a member of Christian Fellowship Independent Methodist Church. He served his country in the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. Rev. Bonner owned The Refuge Coffee Shop for several years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Sherrie Bonner; children, Charelle Mould, Carrie Garcia, and Jimmy Bonner; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry (Annette) Bonner and Judy Elizabeth Ivy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Christine “Chris” Bonner, his first wife, Jacquelin Bonner, and his nephew, Jerry Lee Bonner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Christian Fellowship Independent Methodist Church.
