Richard Calvin Shelby

A celebration of life service for Mr. Ricky Shelby will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Farms (236 Smith Spur Road, Toomsuba, Mississippi 39364). Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Shelby, age 62, of Toomsuba passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at his residence.

Ricky was a jack-of-all trades. He was a very skilled carpenter, a hunter, a fisherman, and he always reached out a helping hand to those in need. Ricky loved his family and friends and will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin, and friend.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Cynthia Shelby; children, Brandi Heinz (Danny), Elizabeth Seigler (Rocky), and Cindy Linenthal (Aaron); grandchildren, Maleigha Skye Heinz and Elliana Ruth Linenthal; siblings, Joe Lee Shelby and Elizabeth Parker (Sonny); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shade Lee and Margaret Earline Shelton Shelby and his siblings, John Shelby, Dorothy Ward, Mary Ward, Roger Shelby, Eva Embrey, and Charles David Shelby.
