Rita Snowden

Private graveside services for Mrs. Rita Snowden will be held at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Snowden, 95, of Meridian, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019.

Mrs. Snowden was a long time member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She was a true southern lady, a precious wife, loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Mrs. Snowden is survived by her two sons; Rick Snowden (Fran) and Tim Snowden (Sherry); grandchildren, Dan Snowden, Drew Snowden (Carolyn), Matt Snowden (Meredith), Mark Snowden (Natalie) and Brian Snowden (Sarah Beth). Great-grandchildren, Dalton, Robin, Hallie, Sierra, Mia, John Taylor, Ella, Ollie, Molly Katherine, Wes, Mackenlee, Logan, and Ethan Snowden, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Snowden; parents, Tom and Lucille Richardson; and siblings, Molly Richardson and Cecil Brown Richardson.

The family suggest memorials to be sent to Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
