Robbie Lucille Morrison

Memorial services for Mrs. Robbie Fleming Morrison will begin at 10:30 am, Thursday, June 13, 2019 at The Morrison Home at 3701 Hwy 39 N. Meridian, MS 39301 with The Reverend Austin McGehee officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Morison passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Morrison graduated Meridian High School. She then attended and received her B.S. degree at The University of Southern Mississippi and went on to receive her Master’s degree from Mississippi State University.  She worked for The Mississippi Rehab for the Blind and later transferred to The General Agency.

Mrs. Robbie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edgar H. Morrison; children, Robert V. Morrison and Eve M. Morrison. Close family members, Doug Davis and Marsha Ann Overstreet.

Mrs. Morrison is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Blackhurst, and parents James A Fleming and Robbie I. Fleming and one sister, Mary I. Davis.

The family suggest that memorials be sent to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Meridian or to The Alzheimer’s Foundation in lieu of flowers.
