Robert "Bob" Briggs Graveside service for Robert "Bob" Briggs will be held Sunday, February 12, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at Briggs Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Larry Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Briggs Chapel Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Briggs of Meridian died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Specialty Hospital. He was retired from ICG Railroad with thirty years of service. Mr. Briggs enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting. He was a member of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of fifty years Ruby Briggs of Meridian; daughter Debbie Briggs Wilson and husband Melvin of Biloxi; grandchildren Tyler and Austin Wilson; brother-in-law Frank Hopper and wife Diane of West Point; sister-in-law Faye Briggs of Porterville; brother-in-law Turner Johnson of Andalusia, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bill Briggs, Brandon Briggs, Ricky Briggs, Keith Palmer, Ken Dill and Dave Ketchum.
