Robert Lee Diveley, Sr. Services for Robert Lee (Bob) Diveley, Sr. will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Concord United Methodist Church, visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service at the church, with Brother Charles Waddell, Don Harrison and Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Mr. Diveley, 67, of Chucky went home on August 21, 2011 to join his family and friends in Heaven. He has suffered with cancer for the past two years. He was a loving husband, father, Grandfather and Great-Grand-Father. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir and was a board member. Mr. Diveley worked for MS Beverage Company and Mitchell Distributing for years. He owned and operated Service Master prior to his retiring. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Elsie Johnson Diveley. Two sons, Robert Lee (Bobby) Diveley, Jr. and wife Susie. Randy Earl Diveley and wife Angie. Seven grandchildren Robert Lee (Trey) Diveley, III and wife Jessica, Randy Lee Diveley and wife Deanna, Christopher Daniel (Bo) Diveley, Phillip Michael Diveley, Lillie Phylicia Shumaker, Thomas Colbett and Jennifer Branin. Five great grandchildren Cayden, Channing, Kelsey, Emma Diveley and Sean Shumaker. One Brother, Earl Diveley and wife Roberta, and two sisters Sandie Wiesehan and husband Dave and Carol Cooper and husband Jim. Three Brother-in-laws Jimmy L. Johnson and wife Joyce, Tony Johnson and wife Susan, Jackie Johnson and wife Pat. One Sister-In-Law Corless Long and husband Ray. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Diveley and Mother Evelyn Bohanan Diveley and a Sister Eleanor Bright Diveley, and His In-Laws Jim Larkin Johnson, Sr. and Essie Buckley Johnson.
