Robert Edward Guthrie, Sr. Funeral services for Robert Edward Guthrie, Sr. will be held Monday, June 30, at 2:00pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Guthrie, 78, of Meridian, passed away Friday, June 27, at his residence. He retired from the Air National Guard as a Master Sergeant. Survivors include his children, Mrs. Ricki Guthrie Carpenter, Mr. and Mrs. John Guthrie, Mr. and Mrs. Bo Guthrie, Jr., and Mr. Daniel Guthrie, all of Meridian; 17 granchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Guthrie of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Guthrie of Harvest, AL; sisters, Dottie Huffman and Rose Mary Mullennex, Parsons, WV. He was preceded in death by his wives, Rose Guthrie and Sheila Guthrie; parents, William R. and Lucy Guthrie; and granddaughter, Brooks Graham.
