Robert Lee Sumrall Graveside services for Robert Lee Sumrall will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Stinson Cemetery, with Reverend Dennis Kennedy officiating. Burial will also be in Stinson Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Sumrall, 81 of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1931 in Meridian, MS. Mr. Sumrall was the son of Edwin Leavell and India Anna (Taylor) Sumrall. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Sumrall retired from Hooper's Electronics where he worked for several years. He owned Sumrall Electronics in Gulfport, MS for several years with his brother William Sumrall. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Louise (Grammer) Sumrall; daughters, Teresa Roberts (Rodney) of Pass Christian, MS, Robin Richardson (Ray) of Meridian, MS; sister, Dorothy Cooley of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, April Ocker, Christopher Richardson, Jessica Richardson; great-grandchildren, Taylor Roberts, Noah Ocker and Breanna Ocker; great-great-grandson, Antonio Roberts. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Edwin, John Franklin and Rufus Sumrall; sisters, Mildred India Young and Lena May DeArman; son, Alan Lynn Sumrall and grandson, John Leonard Roberts.
