Robert Thomas "Bob" Mullinix, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Thomas “Bob” Mullinix, Jr. will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, with Dr. Jeff Myers officiating. Graveside services will begin Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mississippi Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Newton. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Mullinix, age 73, of Meridian passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Bob was born an only child in Walla Walla, Washington. He was a faithful member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, where he served as Chairman of the Deacons. He will be greatly missed by his church family. Mr. Mullinix also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a veteran of 5 tours in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Mullinix; uncle, David Bjornberg; great nieces, Jennifer Rogers and Clarissa Rogers; and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Thomas Mullinix, Sr. and Ann Margaret Bjornberg Mullinix.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
