Ronald C. Andy Anderson

Funeral services for Andy Anderson will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Bro. Wade Ricks and Bro. Stephen Ferrand officiating. Burial will be at Sturgis National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.

Mr. Anderson, age 72, formerly of Folsom, South Dakota, passed away July 18 at his home on NAS Meridian.

Andy retired from the United States Air Force after twenty years of faithful and honorable service. He served during Vietnam and the Philippine Civil War. After his retirement, he continued a twenty-six year career as a civil service employee for the Air Force. He was a lifetime member of The American Legion, Post #22 He married Deborah Pendley Anderson in 1976 and they spent the first ten years as a military family until his retirement to South Dakota. After moving to Meridian, he began attending Collinsville First Baptist Church.

Andy is survived by his daughter, Debbie Young and her husband, Tim, son, Ronald C. “Ron” Anderson, Jr and his wife, Stephanie, and daughter, Melissa Whitney; grandchildren, Tyler Young, Delaney Young, Allena Anderson, Spencer Anderson, and James Sistak; brother, Stewart Anderson, and sister, Christine “Chris” Cole.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Anderson, and brother, Steve Anderson.
