Ronald E. Meyer A Memorial Service for Ronald E. Meyer will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Ryan Culpepper officiating. Mr. Meyer, 68, of Lauderdale died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Meyer was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired from Ralston Purnia and later retired from the gaming industry. After retiring he moved to Dalewood to enjoy fishing, and he also enjoyed playing golf. Mr. Meyer was an active member of First Baptist Church of Lauderdale where he accepted Christ in 2010. Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Ann Meyer of Lauderdale; daughters Rhonda Turner and her husband John of Jackson, Dina Thomas and her husband Mike of Lauderdale; step-son Michael Hutton of Las Vegas; five grandchildren Christopher Turner, Matthew Turner, Zachary Turner, Kayla DeLaughter and Preston Thomas and one great-grandchild Jackson DeLaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Meyer and Norma Sczepanski and a brother Gary Meyer. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
