Ronald Wayne "Ron" Ethridge

Graveside services for Ron Ethridge will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery, with Brother Wayne Edwards officiating.

Mr. Ethridge, age 68, passed away June 10, 2017, at his home.

Ron served his country honorably in the US Army and was a proud Vietnam Vet. He worked at McRae’s and Belk until his retirement. Ron loved John Wayne movies and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Ciera. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and life of the party.

Ron is survived by his wife, Shirley Davidson; sons, Steven Ethridge and Shawn Ethridge; daughters, Kimberly Ethridge, Cynde Neal, Theresa Laney and Penny Alexander; brothers, Jerry Ethridge and Robin Ethridge; sixteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Audria Ethridge; sister, Dianne Crane.
